Glad to see you here. Today, I'll talk about a personal experience with regard to the work force and the "glass ceiling". This is what people refer to as the invisible limits placed on women in the work place by men. I worked for a human resouces job placement company as a consultant after my regular career was over. I went to a large company in South Bend, IN where they were looking for a person to work a high stress, detailed, lots of job training required job, where there were a multitude of tests, including psychological. The owner of the company told me in private: "If you ever repeat this, I'll deny it. I want women for these jobs because they have to take less money." This is somewhat a play on the glass ceiling where men will be given jobs over women, unless, of course, the woman will work cheaper. Dirty Play.
Take care of and speak up for yourself.
Millie.
